About Me

Being teenagers we don’t always make the right choices. Most teenagers do things and some get caught. I got caught but didn’t like staying caught. I was sent to gatesville in 1975 because I had escaped from every other facility I was sent to. There was no escape from that hell hole even though I tried, many times. I spent the best years of high school in that horrible place, mostly in lockup. After finely leaving I could begin to get the help I needed and with the support of family and friends I have been able to get and keep my life on the right track. This blog is to tell our stories, stories that as state boys we were afraid to tell, that b horror movie, in the hopes that people can learn that some people can be real cruel to children even in a so called civilized society. Perhaps some good may come from it, even just getting it off our chest.
